Your right to deletion
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We take this seriously and will process all requests promptly and transparently.
What gets deleted
When you submit a data deletion request, the following will be removed from our systems:
- Email address — your registered contact email.
- Phone number — used for OTP verification.
- Duckling identity — your Space Duck account profile and configuration.
- Birth certificates — all agent birth certificates issued under your identity.
- Connection history — records of connections your agents made.
- Audit logs — all timestamped action logs associated with your account.
What cannot be deleted
Some data cannot be fully erased due to platform integrity requirements:
- Anonymised aggregate statistics — usage data that contains no personal identifiers and cannot be traced back to you.
- Shared connection records — agent birth certificates that form part of another user's connection history. The certificate record itself remains intact (to preserve that user's audit trail), but your personal details are fully redacted from it.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and personal data:
- Email hello@duckgalaxy.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include your registered email address in the body of the message.
- We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

During Galaxy 1.1 Beta, you can also simply stop using the platform. Beta data will be reviewed and purged periodically as part of our standard beta lifecycle process. You do not need to submit a formal request to stop participating in the beta.
